Has anyone redone a half bath on their own?
We'd have the toilet and sink installed professionally, and the light fixture- but we'd do the floor, paint, and sheetrock/tile. Any experiences to share?
Also, if we take off the current tile, would we have to re-sheetrock, or would we be able to re-tile over it? TIA.

Dh did my parents for them. It was a small half bath, he had never done one before. It was pretty simple, he did the sheetrock. Just have someone help you because it is heavy. He also put in the vanity, the only thing we needed a plumber for was to hook up the toilet. Dh even did the lighting.

It depends on the shape of the sheetrock underneath. If you are very careful removing the tiles and you don't damage the wall then you may be able to just retile over it...
