Is this required before you start an injectables cycle?

I did my IVF injectables without a class. The YouTube videos are wicked self explanatory.

My RE required I do a class too. There are great videos on YouTube and on freedom pharmacy website.

I just completed an IUI cycle with injectables (Gonal-f). The nurse gave me the first shot and explained it to me as she did it. I watched a few videos on youtube as well but the nurse's technique was better and less painful.
They also gave me my hcg shot (in the butt) which I'm thankful for because that needle was long and the medicine kind of burned on the way in.

I did without a class, you tube is great !! And the some of the drug websites have tutorials too. I think the nurses just assumed I knew even thou they were making everyone go to a class. I live with a nurse so I felt I had an emergency back up if I had any problems.
