Has the 1st trimester left a bad taste in anyone's mouth- LITERALLY?
I have the worst, most bitter/sour taste in my mouth all of the time. Between this and the constant nausea I think I am going to go nuts. I am eating like crazy to get rid of nausea and the horrible taste, but both return the second I finish eating. I know these are all great, healthy signs, but I feel like I am losing it!

Yes........... I was literally depressed until about 18 weeks. I was puking 10-15 times a day, my midwife had to come to the house a few times for IV fluid therapy treatment for dehydration, and 1 hospital visit made me MISERABLE........ ALl of this and you barely feel pregnant.....just sick!!
Its funny but my third trimester has been my easiest....
Pregnancy is hard! FOr some women its harder then others! Just know its normal to not feel like "mother earth" and in the end you get the biggest gift!

Last pregnnacy I had really bad m/s and the taste killed me.. i found sucking on sweettarts helped alot.

I tried sucking on sour candies but that just makes the taste in my mouth more sour

Yes! I constantly taste blood in my mouth I've checked my gums everytime and they are not bleeding, it just tastes like that. It's disgusting. I try to drink a lot to get rid of it but it really doesn't help. The m/s doesn't help at all. All the vomitting has only intensified the taste.

yup, i've always got a horrible taste in my mouth, which makes me sick. but then when i brush my teeth, THAT taste makes me sick... so i can't win

I had a metal taste in my mouth during most of the first trimester. And there was nothing i could do about it.
