Has this ever happened to you?

On Thursday when I was leavnig my RE, I saw one of my colleagues there.

I have never spoken to her before, but I know she looked at me as if she knew who I was, but maybe wasn't sure if she knew where she knew me from. Then this morning, I saw her at work and we kind of smiled at each other - a sort of knowing glance and smile (I felt as though she just figured it out).

This is my second year working here and her first - if that matters.

Would you just keep quiet? Say something to her? Try to befriend her since we're both likely going through similar things? (Also, there is nothing else in the RE office - so it's not like she could have been there for a different type of doctor).

Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

It never happend to me but dh and i were at the re office and he saw a man there with his wife and he happened to know him. They didnt say anything and didnt acknowledge each other either. I guess thats something guys dont talk about.

me on the other hand, i probally wouldnt say anything to her at work especially if u dont really talk to her. If i saw her again at the re office i would probally say hi.
Im pretty open about my if problems (with some people not all) and some people are much more private. I guess u just have to see which catagory she falls in!

My DH saw someone once at the RE and he knew him from work..like the PP said I think guys dont talk about that LOL...

If I saw her again I probably would say hello and say I thought I recognized you from somewhere and just smile If she is open to it, she may chat but obv if she is really private she may just acknowledge it and move on!!

If it were me I would be inviting you to lunch etc but thats me
