Hate making IVF decisions

Because I am always second guessing (and regretting when things don't go right). I started a frozen cycle last week...on estradiol. We met with the doc and I expressed concern with how the cycles are going so he offered us the option of a mock cycle to monitor my levels and change protocol for actual cyle if we see something wrong..but he left it up to us. After thinking abt it all wk we decided not to do it and just go ahead with the FET. Mostly because of timing with work, family in from OOS and switching ins carriers nxt yr. I feel like this is what we need to do but am so burdened with the possibility that this is the wrong decision...and will regret basing the decision on it being a good time for us if it doesn't work. Just venting. Tx for reading!

Totally relate. I always feel like I should do the opposite of what I think because I always make the wrong decision. I guess unless it works we will always think that. I would not have done a mock for an FET, you can always cancel if something doesn't seem right. So, I think you made the right decision. I know its hard not to stress over it all.

Not sure what you are afraid will go wrong, but they way I would look at it is that you will learn info about the cycle whether you do the mock or go ahead for real. Accept for real you have the chance of going forward and I am assuming for the mock you do not. I always pushed myself and I definitely struggled with that, even now sometimes I still wonder........but trust that you are making decisions that are right for you. It's so easy to feel wrong with infertility, try not to let it bother you once you have made your choice.

with a FET you can always stop it if you feel something is not right...I would def continue and see how things progress...good luck!!!

Thanks for the input! We have thought things out as best we can. Of course...we don't know what we don't know so there's not much else we can do. Just wish someone else would make all the decisions for me...would be so much easier lol. I guess time will tell if this was the 'right' way to go.
