This is from CNN

Re: Hate to be the bearer of Bad News
It's "susposed to" head up the middle of PA then into the middle west side of NY state. It shouldnt be too bad here.

Re: Hate to be the bearer of Bad News
I just looked at weatherchannel.com & this is what is says
Ernesto has continued to get better organized this afternoon and it now has top-sustained winds of 70 mph. This is just 4 mph away from hurricane status. Further strengthening is possible over the warm waters and hurricane strength may be reached before landfall this evening. Ernesto is forecast to make landfall north of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina along the South and North Carolina border.
Heavy rainfall and flooding will be a big concern as well. Already (on Wednesday and Thursday morning), a stationary front produced anywhere from 2 to over 7 inches of rain across eastern North Carolina to Virginia. Flash flood watches and even some warnings have been posted across the Carolinas up into the Mid-Atlantic today into tonight. An additional 4 to 8 inches of rain is possible in parts of South and North Carolina tonight and into Friday.
In addition to the flooding rains, Ernesto will kick up the waves along the coasts of South and North Carolina; rising between 15 to 25 feet. Some beach erosion is possible all the way to southeast Virginia by tonight. With the restrengthening of Ernesto, strong winds will also create scattered power outages across eastern North Carolina and along the northern coast of South Carolina.
Hurricane watches have now been posted along the South and North Carolina coast from South Santee River, S.C. to Cape Lookout, N.C. Tropical storm warnings are posted from the Savannah River in Georgia northward to Currituck Beach Light, North Carolina. This does include Pamlico Sound.
After landfall, the impacts from Ernesto and its remnants will shift into other parts of the Mid-Atlantic. On Friday and Saturday, heavy flooding rain will advance from the Carolinas to areas of the Middle Atlantic and Northeast (including portions of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Upstate New York) as remnants of Ernesto work northward and interact with a stationary boundary draped across the region. Flood watches have been posted. Cities such as Fayetteville and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina as well as Norfolk, Richmond, and Charlottesville, Viriginia should all prepare for rainfall in the 4 to 8 inch range with locally higher amounts. This heavy rainfall will be in tandem with the busy travels of the Labor Day holiday. Be ready to deal with slow air travel and road travel in the region. Keep it here at weather.com and The Weather Channel for updates and the forecast as we approach the holiday weekend.
Here is the CNN article too: CNN Article: Ernesto
Nothing mentioned about us getting a hurricane! So don't sweat it guys!
