Hating diaper changes
Okay one more question for today. 
My little guy HATES to have his diaper changed. He's 6 days old and even from day 1, he has hated it. I mean he wails the entire time... bloody murder.
Is there anything i can do about this (other than try to do it fast )?
Granted i know he's young and new at this, as am i, but i just wondering if anyone else's baby was like this and how to change it/how long it lasts, etc?

DS is the same way! Hates everything about getting his diaper changed. And he isn't much better about changing of clothes either (he's 13 days old).
Although, he does seem to be getting a little more patient each day.

DD is 16 days old and doesn't like them most of the time. She is beginning to get used to them though. We began using the wipes warmer the other day, just to see if that made a difference, and the crying is a lot less. I guess she is like Mommy and hates to be cold!

You know its funny you say that. My aunt just changed him and she warmed the wipe up in her hand first and he didn't cry nearly as much.
So either that's what we're going to do from now on or we'll just have her change him every time! 
I would get a wipe warmer, but i'm afraid that if he gets used to that... then when we're out and about, he would hate to be changed even more.
What do you do?

What I have tried to do with DS, as he screams pretty much the whole diaper change too is to get the wipes & diaper ready BEFORE starting!
If I lessen the time, he seems a little better!! And I am not warming the wipes at all!!
I think he actually screamed much worse the 1st week, but that was because of the circumcision ....poor thing......it took the 2 of us to change him at that point!

We went through this. I think he was cold and that after he gained some weight he had more "meat" to keep him warm. Trust me, it changes. Now my son is all smiles for diaper changes and sometimes he even laughs. I think he likes to be stripped!!!!
