Have any of you started buying baby items?
I absolutely love baby items. I can't help but want to start crib shopping and buy itty bitty bibs and stuffed animals.
When I go to the mall, I always end up stopping by Pottery Barn for Kids or a similar store.
Is this normal?

I haven't bought or looked at anything yet, but thay may be because I don't really have to. We saved everything from DD & we'll really only need one or two small things for the next one.
I do, however, admit to stopping to "awwww" over the little itty-bitty baby clothes in the store!

In the Jewish faith it is, I am a Catholic, so it is not part of my religion. I just don't like counting my chickens before they hatch.

Many Jewish people don't bring anything baby related into the house until the baby is born.
Personally I would never buy baby items before being pregnant. I'm not sure how far along I'll be before I feel comfortable buying baby items. Everyone is different though.

I feel like I'll jinx myself if I do that...not to mention if I DO get pregnant and then something happened (knock on wood) it would break my heart. Better just not to go there for me!

I haven't because why should I if I am not preggo, I do the "awwwwww thats so freaking adorable" when I am out shopping. The only thing I have been spending a $hit load a money on is things for my twin sisters' shower.

Personally, I think it's bad luck to buy baby items before even getting pregnant. What happens if the pregnancy doesn't last? I would rather not have the added emotional stress. DH and I will wait to buy items until we get pg AND we know we're somewhat out of the woods (after 10 weeks or so).
