I have not yet, but he has had soy. Not sure how I'd prepare it though... I usually spice the hell out of it, which I would not do for DS.

Challenge indeed!

You can stir fry it, or bake it in the oven with some seasoning. Its easy, and kids love the texture!

I do, but I just give it cubed and let DD finger feed the little pieces. I think when she's a little older I'll give it to her cooked with fun flavoring. I guess I'm just mean!!!Chat Icon

DS has been eating it since he was 6 mths. At first I just pureed it and added veggies. Cut it into cubs and steam it, bake it, stirfry it. Any way I eat it basically, but just much more bland. He really likes it!!!

I've given it to Ella a number of ways. Her favorites are cubed with some teriaki sauce or fried (& breaded).

Jacob loves tofu! I cut it up into small pieces and mix in some Terriyaki sauce for flavor. He eats it cold and sometimes I think that he could eat the whole thing!

Maddie loves tofu.
Heres my recipe for tofu cubes:

Italain bread crumbs
or whole wheat panko
parmesean cheese
Wheat germ
a little garlic powder
(optional flax seed meal)

Cut tofu in cubes or other fun shapes.
Put them in bag with bread mixture, shake it up.
cook in oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Maddies favorite dinner, hands down.
