Have you ever gone back and read your posts from being a new mom
I just did this. Pulled up my posts from Jack's first two months. It's so amazing to read since you really do forget so much.
We are pretty lucky to have it all documented here. It's like our own personal little memory books!

I did the same when I was pregnant. And to be honest, I forgot a lot. I am "winging it" again although alot does come back to you when you do it all over again.

Since I was BTDT I dont get as misty eyed over my posts once Caden was born....
For me....
It's the ones from the preggo board.....
To me it's crazy to "hear" me talking about something to do with the pregnancy and see his face in the avatar...Especially my first posts where the doctor didnt think the pregnancy was viable...

It is amazing to read them. I forgot half the stuff.
For me, it's the best birth control!

I just looked. For some reason I did not think I discussed my son's milk protein allergy on LIF a lot but wow, there are a lost of posts about it. Just a few days before I started to notice the symptoms I posted about how great he was doing.
I don't now disagree with my posts from those early days but something about them seems so innocent.
