Have YOU ever tried formula?
I'm always so curious as to what formula tastes like, but I'm too chicken to try it.  
Have you ever tried your DC's formula (or breastmilk?)  What did you think?

I've tried the formula.... it's a good thing DC have never had "real food" before that, because I don't think they would want the formula after trying just about anything else....

Ditto! DS loved it but that's all he knew at the time. I doubt I could get him to try it now that he's had real milk!

Of course I tried it! Not great but not bad..
I also tried all of the jarred baby food too.

i have... reasons....
to make sure the nipple was big enough (before we switched her to AR & RS)
before we finally found bottles she liked we couldnt figure out why she didnt take her bottle.
EDIT: the powder was much worse than the RTF

I plan on tryng all of the jarred food too, but I just can't bring myself to try the formula!

yes, its disgusting. When I couldn't get my son to drink formula when he was a baby I tasted both BM and formula so I could find he one that tasted most similar, they are quite sweet but NASTAY. BM tastes one million times nicer!

Ditto! I was thinking the same thing, but when Mason burps after drinking about 8 oz... the smell makes me ill. Hey, as long as he loves it that's all that matters.

Me too. I did read somewhere though that even though it might taste bad to us, it doesn't taste bad to the baby.

I guess?? I don't know how they would know if the baby really liked it?? I wish I remembered where I saw that!
ETA: I never tried breastmilk either. My dd doesn't seem to prefer one over the other.

I tried my breast milk when I was leaking - just a drop on my finger. It was sweet. DH looked absolutely horrified when I did that.
I only BF'd for a week.
Then when we switched to formula, I've tasted it when I put a drop on my arm to test the temperature. DH also thought I was insane again.
Not great. I thing Breast milk tastes better.
I have to say, Similac is sweeter than enfamil.....

Yes I did - I wanted to know what my DS is tasting every day! To me it tasted like sweet milk. We use Good Start Gentle.
