Have your children picked up your eating habits?
I am the PICKIEST eater. I hate mayo, anything creamy, mustard, all seafood, eggs, etc...
My dh and I have promised not to let our children know that mommy doesn't eat these things. Dh eats EVERYTHING.
have your kids picked up on your eating habits?

ABSOLUTLEY!!!!!!!!!
I am very proud to say that my daughter turns up her nose at next to nothing! She loves food, and has been an amazing blessing with trying all new stuff!

Re: Have your children picked up your eating habits?
Sadly yes. I am/was a picky eater and so is DD. It's really something you have to constantly work at. She was doing ok for awhile then I slacked at keeping up with offering a variety of foods and so she is her mother's daughter.

Re: Have your children picked up your eating habits?
not mine, luckly!
My DH eats EVERYTHING and loves to munch on fruits and veggies. So luckly my girls seem to be taking after him. I try my hardest not to show how picky I am in front of the girls. I also only snack on bad foods when they are napping or playing in the other room. So I think that helps

Re: Have your children picked up your eating habits?
No! She will try most anything I give her (well no oatmeal or hot cereal) but veggies etc she will give everything a try. I'm pretty good with trying new things so maybe I guess she has. But I'm not a big egg eater and she LOVES them.
I think if you just offer her the foods (whether you eat them or not) and just let your DC choose if they like it or not.
Remember though it takes something like 10-15 times to know if a child really likes or dislikes a new food.
