Having a hard time during holidays
I'm Jewish, and Rosh Hashanah is this weekend. When I was (briefly) PG, I was so excited to think about attending the synagogue that I grew up in, and being PG. I've been married for over 5 years, and I many of my peers who I grew up with are at shul with their children. If the pregnancy had stuck, I would have been about 4.5 months along.
Normally, I'm okay, but I think b/c we just started trying again this cycle, and I'm on this board more, my MC is more prevalent in my mind, and it just has me down.
I want to be PG and have a baby already!!!!!
(okay, tantrum over)

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
First off Happy Rosh Hashanah. I know how you feel. My PG SIL just left & I was a month ahead of her (due 11/09). It was hard to shop for clothese with her, I was jealous but happy for her at the same time. Our time will come

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
I keep thinking just like you are. I have a wedding in October and it just makes me sad because last week I was still pregnant & shopping for a dress. I remember thinking about how I'd be almost 2 1/2 months along at that point. I was thinking about how maybe we'd be able to start telling people soon after. It just stings a little bit when I think about it now.
I do get a bit excited though when I think about TTC again. I can't wait until this is all over and I can start trying.
It will be our time soon enough!! Hopefully this is your LAST Rosh Hashanah before becoming a mommy

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
I can relate. My 3rd wedding anniversary was last week. I would have been over 14 weeks and thats when we planned on telling everyone
Now that we are trying again, I too feel like my m/c is prevalent. Like everyone else said, our time will come though!! Vent away when ever you feel the need

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
I fetlt the same way about different events coming up. I think as soon as I got my BFP I was already starting to think about every upcoming event. From the Hannukah& thanksgiving and how much fun it would be seeign everyone. Iwould of def been showing by then. IT would be my time to celebrate getiing pregnant with all extended family.
I'm sorry you are down. I think we all have these moments.
You will get pregnant again soon!

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
I feel like I could have written your post! I am approaching what would have been my due date (just before Thanksgiving). And unless I get PG before then(and it actually sticks)....I have a feeling the holidays are going to be extremely hard this year! Every single family event that comes up, I think about how I would have been pregnant, and how far along I would have been. I think it is only natural to think about it during these events.
Lots of baby dust to you!!

Re: Having a hard time during holidays
I can relate....would've been due in about 3-4 weeks with our first PG. It would've been fun to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with our new baby.....
