HCG shot?
I have two days left on Clomid and then next Monday I have to go in for a CD 12 sonogram to see how the follicles are doing...and if they are good they're going to give me the HCG shot. I know that I'm then supposed to ovulate in 24-48 hours, but can anyone tell me about the shot? Painful? Any side effects? Thanks. I don't know why I'm so nervous about this one little part. I've been pretty much fine on Clomid other than some night sweats. but then again I've been taking it before bed.
ETA: Just saw the other post on this. Still appreciate any advice.

It's injected into a muscle so the most you will have is a little soreness where they gave you the shot.
If you have more than one follicle, you may get some mild cramping, sort of like AF cramps.

I had mine(ovidrel) in the stomach..I administered myself and felt no pain whatsoever, a little cramping after

Mine went into my backside...it didn't hurt at all when it was done. The next day it was sore though. Good Luck!
