He keeps peeing on the floor!!

I know it's probably because Yogi wants more time with me to run and play. But, I'm doing the best I can! I am a single mom and I moved from my 1/2 acre piece of property to an apartment (actually not that much smaller than my house) but the yard is much smaller. My landlady lets me use her side of the yard (much bigger) to play with Yogi, but then my son calls for me to come inside and I can't be outside while he is inside. DS will play with Yogi and I outside for a while, but it's getting cold out and he wants to go in much sooner now.

So the problem I'm having is, every time I am doing something where I am not giving Yogi attention, he pees on the floor. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he peed on the floor. I was on the phone with my mom and turned around and he peed on the floor. If I try to sit down and play with DS for a few minutes, he pees on the floor. Last night he peed on the floor 5 times! I am at my wits end! What can I do?

Are you sure this is behavioral and that he does not have some thing medical going on? My mom's cat started peeing outside the litter box and it turned out he had kidney stones. He needs to be on special food and at times he needs medication. I would rule out all possible medical conditions before making the conclusion that it is behavioral.

Is he still a baby? Our puppy will pee and poop on the floor when I'm in the shower or we both go out. We think its out of spite. He's just a baby though (3 months). He does know how to go on the paper though- because when we are watching he;ll go on the paper and then look at us waiting for us to acknowledge him with a "good boy" and a treat.

My dog doesnt get the attention we would like because of our schedules but he doesnt pee on the floor.

I really do not think it is an attention thing. I would look into something medical
