Head Banging?????
OK, so every time I lay DS on his activity mat, he turns over from his back to his tummy.
Then he proceeds to bang his face down on the floor several times in a row.. 
Obviously it is not bothering him since he doesn't cry (the floor is padded). Anyone else have a head banging child???????
I feel like a bad mom because I laugh when he does it!

yes, my dd does this but she does it on the couch when she is frustrated
I ignore it, laughing or telling them to "stop" will only encourage the behavior IMO

That's good to hear.... he actually seems pretty happy when he does it, he's not crying or looking upset at all. He will bang his face then look up and smile. Thanks!
