Heart is breaking a little (not in a bad way)
So I had my 6 week PP visit today so DH worked from home to watch the kids. And told me when I got home after running a few errands and the Dr. how jealous he is that I get to stay home with them (most of the time anyway). He had so much fun with them that he wishes he could be the one that stays home with them. First of all warms my heart that he feels that way towards caring for them. Second my heart breaks a little b/c I don't appreciate the opportunity nearly as much as he does. DS is only 6 weeks and not sleeping through the night yet and Ellie is in such a miserable toddler stage that she aggravates me to no end by the end of a day when DH gets home. So it makes me a little sad for the kids that they're stuck with me rather than him but the reality is that he makes more and has benefits and I don't. I guess the lesson here is that I should take me time to feel lucky or get out more and let him spend more time with them.

Thank you for posting this. I need to remember how lucky I am. SOmetimes I focus too much on trying to explain to my husband how my day is not so easy (not that his is).
