Heartburn and hair at birth? Fact or fiction?
Hello parents!
I was just wondering if it was a total old wives tale that if you had heartburn throughout your pregnancy, your baby would be born with hair....
My heartburn comes and goes, but it's been pretty consistent lately... wondering if  is going to have any hair at birth?
I was a baldy until I was 3  and DH was born with a full head of hair at 32 weeks

It was true for me! I had severe heartburn for most of my pregnancy and Gianna came out with a full head of hair  .

My DD is a baldy bean and I had tremendous heartburn, so it was false for me

i had heartburn but it was not horrible - one tums and it was gone.
DS was born with a little bit of hair but not a full head of it.

For me it was a big time fact. I had the worst heartburn my last 2 months. DD popped out with a full head of hair.

I had some bad heartburn, but it wasn't all the time.
DD was a baldy, DS had a head full of hair.

I had heartburn and sometimes reflux at the very end. The last month, maybe 2 at most. Ds had a full head of hair.

I really thought it was true until this past week when I had my little girl.
I had heartburn with my two boys, DS#1 moreso and he had so much hair. With this pregnancy I had heartburn but I really thought that i was having a baldy. Well, she has so much hair that I was really surprised. She has a full head of dark hair.

I had terrible heartburn and DD was born with a full head of hair...I swear she needed a haircut!

I had heartburn almost the entire pregnancy, and have never had it while not pregnant.
Lily was born with a full head of hair!
So it was true for me!

fiction - I had zero heartburn and DD was born with a ton of hair, and it never fell out.

I had some but only 2-3 times really bad. DS was almost a baldy with just blond fuzz.

Totally false. I had the WORST heartburn throughout my pregnancy and DD was born with practically no hair!

I had the most HORRENDOUS heartburn ever my entire pregnancy, Mylanta was my best friend. If it were true I would have given birth to one hairy child, but DS was a baldy!

Although I totally think it's an old wives tales it was true for me. I had horrible heartburn with my 1st...I lived on Tums and Mylanta.

I had heartburn with all 3 pregnancies. My first 2 had tons of hair but #3 was bald as an egg.

first baby: no heartburn, no hair
second baby: tons of heart burn, some hair:
third baby: tons of heart burn, NO hair!
