HELP... anyone have brown spotting with flecks???...

I know a few of you girls have had bouts with bleeding and spotting....
have any of you had brown spotting with (TMI) but brown flecks in it????

I started bleeding red on Wednesday.... and then spotting red, then finally spotting brown... but once it turned to brown spotting there was also these flecks in it (NOT CLOTS.... FLECKS... like cinnamon flecks). I have no idea what it is.... and I was scared to google....

Am I the only one???

My guess is its dried old blood? I have no experience with this, but that's what it sounds like. Call your OB tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

i agree with PP...sounds like old blood...the specks are probably tiny clots ... hth

I agree with the others that it is probably old blood. I think I may have had a little bit of that when I was spotting.

I had it a couple of weeks ago! Brown specks and everything. It scared me because I didn't have any spotting throughout the whole pregnancy and there was a LOT of it (in my case, at least). Since I never had spotting, the doctors monitored me for 30 minutes. It was just old blood, but it's so scary how it can come out of nowhere and look so weird sometimes .

def old blood...sounds gross but I would get that at the end of AF always it was old blood
