What exactly are you feeling?? Are they coming in "waves"? How far apart are they??
For me, my contractions felt EXACTLY like menstrual cramps x10! I felt everything in my lower uterus... never got the tightening in my stomach or pain in my back like other people have described. And they literally felt like waves coming on... I could feel when one was approaching, when it was peaking, and when it was "leaving". Everyone's contractions feel different but this was my experience.
HTH.

Thanks. I think it was false labor or just very early labor. I was getting the cramping in waves but not that often. I was also getting those electrical charges all night especially when I was out walking where it stopped me dead in my tracks every minute or so. I think it's his head sitting even lower than it has been. I also felt so crampy down my back and in my lower abdomen that i couldn't sit straight up or bend down to pee without the assistance of DH or the wall to lean against. Not to be TMI but it was almost like I was "backed up" and had that kinda cramping down low.
Today I feel different, not as crampy and was able to sit down to pee without assistance. BUT I still feel "off".
