Help! Daycare recs south shore western suffolk...
hey! I am a bit stressed right now... my maternity leave ends the end of november, and MIL was supposed to be the one watching DS, but now she can't and I have no backup and im freaking out.. Does anyone have any recommendations for a daycare (maybe an private licensed place, since im sure its too late for a big place) or for a babysitter that can come to the house? I live in West islip and work in south amityville, so anything in the vicinity will do..
this is so hard to even think about, so id rather look into places/people I know others have trusted.
Does anyone know anyone? reply or FM Thanks so much

we were very happy with my son's former sitter - she's in Farmingdale right off SSP exit 33. She's a young grandma and had DS with her from 3mos to 23mos. My sister will be watching both boys for me now, so we had to stop using her, but I wrote her a glowing recommendation letter and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her on here. Just shoot me an FM if you're interested.

How old is your DC?
Chatterbox in East Islip has bus transportation from West Islip. We really liked them.

I live in West Islip and have the most wonderful amazing babysitter in the world. My 2 DS stayed home with my DH but when my little girl wuz born he couldn't watch her. I had to go back and agonized over what to do. I found this woman and she (and her entire fami) are now part of our family. FM me if you want more info. My DD loves her more than her grandmothers, lol. Sometimes she cries when I pick her up too. LOL
