help! donation wording for card
My DH and I have made a donation to St. Jude Children's hospital instead of a gift for my aunt and uncle for their anniversary. How do I word that in their card?
Does this sound right?
Dear xx and xx,
Happy anniversary!
"A gift of $xxx has been made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in your honor"
does that sound right? too cold and boring?
They will be recieving the donation card in the mail.
any suggestions?

For a christmas gift I put pretty much that same wording, and then I wrote a little about why we picked the organization for that person.

I agree.
St. Jude's will probably also send them a letter in the mail.
When my personal trainer made a donation to the American Heart Assoc. in my dad's name in honour of my wedding, we received a really nice letter in the mail from the AHA.
