Help!! DS is refusing the bottle...
I am going to cry....
DS was 10 mos yesterday and was taking 3 bottles a day each 8oz. Both yesterday and today he has taken just ONE bottle in the am and not even a full 8 oz bottle (he is just pushing the other bottles away when I offer them to him and crying.) I have been giving him whatever food he will take so he is not hungry. I am more concerned tonight because his diaper has been dry all afternoon and I do not want him to be dehydrated.
The only think I can think of is maybe he is teething. I am at a loss. Anyone have any advice!!
TIA

Try putting the milk on a sippy cup. That might work. If he is teething, the sucking might be hurting him. If you are concerned with dehydration, give him some juice mixed with water.

Could you make him some oatmeal made with milk just to get some more fluids in him?

I just gave him a huge bowl of oatmeal made with alot of formula, it was really, really watery.

Great minds think alike . I hope this little phase passes soon. Maybe it's teething as a PP mentioned.

Yes, I would definatly try the sippy cup. It doesn't hurt to get him used to it early while also giving him fluids. DD loves water in her sippy cup.
