Help! He has red marks all over his face (UPDATE)
Last night he started with a few red marks on one cheek, about dime sized. As they disappeared about 1-2 hours later, more appeared on the other cheek. Also, both his cheeks have had what looks like a heat rash for the past few days.
Now he has those dime sized red marks appearing and disappearing on his entire face. His 1 year molars are coming in and he's been a bit uncomfy. He doesn't have a fever as he's still around 100.
We are very concerned because he has surgery scheduled in a week and they won't perform it if he's sick. We are heading to the ped tomorrow, but can anyone help me today? TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE:
Dr said it appears to be an allergy. There are 3 possibilities, but things have been pointing to him being allergic to MIL's cats and it did start when we were visiting out there. I was hoping he didn't get my pet allergies, but it appears he may have.

This really sounds like it's from the molars. My nephews both had this and the doctor told my sister not to worry about it. It wasn't bothersome. Hope they go away soon!

Seriously, I think there may be some sort of allergy. Call the ped.

Well, it could be much worse. Cats are easier to avoid than foods & such, right? Hope it's confirmed ASAP and the marks go away soon

Kelly I am glad Michael is ok. I was concerned when I read it last night but was so tired to repsond. I hope it goes away fast.

FYI..my son is allergic to dust mites and dairy. Was he on any old carpets that day? My son had a severe reaction one day and after testing..it was from dust mites...he was on an old rug the day it happened.
