HELP!!! I broke my tooth!

Ok my back tooth cracked and I am VERY phobic of the dentist, as a matter of fact my worst fear was needing a dentist during my pregnancy! I will need to get an emergency appointment in the morning but will I be allowed to use novacaine? I absolutely cannot get any work done without it, not even a cleaning, my teeth are super sensitive. Any advice?

yes u can have novicaine but it must be novicaine WITHOUT epinephrine. Good luck at the dentist i know its not fun, i am an office manger of a dental office and lots of pregnant woman come in. teeth and gum issues are very common with pregnancy

I seriously just went through this 2 weeks ago. I cracked my back molar. They wanted to fill it like they would a filling. I freaked. I can't take the novicane needle without gas. They couldn't give me gas. After literally crying in the dentist chair for 30 minutes we agreed to bond the tooth temporarily and that I would return after the baby. Believe me there is not anyone more dentist phobic than me and there was nothing painful about the bonding.
