HELP! I need new tubes for my pump asap

I saw some mold in my tubes Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon so I threw them out and ordered new ones online, but now I dont know what to do for the next couple days. Does anyone know where I can get them in a store? Or does anyone have a set that I could buy from them?

Where are you located? There is a home health-care store in West Islip on Sunrise Highway that sells a ton of breast pump supples.

I would also think that BRU carries replacement parts.

BRU has lots of supplies but I don't think they have tubes. I'm going to call both stores, thanks!

I am almost positive that Lakeville Pharmacy in NHP on Hillside Avenue carries them. I used to rent my pump from them. They have everything. GL!

The store she's referring to on Sunrise is Homecare America.

We just took out my breast pump & found ourselves in the same boat.

I had asked them too at BRU and was told that I would have to go directly to the manufacturer.

When I needed them asap, I just called and talked to the LCs at the hospital where I delivered. DH was able to run and pick some up for me within an hour and it was cheaper than ordering them online.

Re: HELP! I need new tubes for my pump asap

UGH, I just went through this. Milk got into the tubes somehow, and DH tried to sterilize them in the steam sterilizer and they melted Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I couldn't believe that BRU doesn't carry them, but they don't.

We have a nursing supply store in our local hospital, and that's where I was able to get my replacement tubing. You can also contact Medela directly. If you don't have a spare set, I would run hot, hot water through them and hang them over a towel rack overnight. That'll at least tie you over until you can get new ones.

That is my ONLY complaint about the Medela pumps so far, they need to figure out a way to make the tubing a little less "vulnerable".

OH, btw, I usually run the pump for about 5 minutes after I've disconnected the breast shields. That helps to empty out any condensation that may have built up in the tubing.
