We need a new Ped. ASAP

I am really fed up with our Ped. he never gives us time I feel we deserve. He comes in and out of the room (answering phone calls etc.) when we are sitting in there We were there today and it was so ridiculous. My DD was really cranky and it was going on naptime.

I feel the practice is so big with too many patients that there is zero personal attention and right now we need it.

I really feel we need a dr. is on his own or has only 1 or 2 drs. in the practice. I live in Farmingdale but will travel a little. Our current office is in Plainview. If anyone has any reccos. I would really appreciate it. I've been wanting to switch drs. for awhile but have been nervous about finding the right one.

We are in Wantagh and travel to Rockville Centre for our ped. Fm me is you want the name. He is a by himself and I still never wait more then 10 minutes to see him.

We go to LI Pediatrics in Farmingdale on Fulton Street. We love them!!! Dr. Calma and Dr. Lerius. We had a problem with our first ped and we were referred to them by the nurses in my own doctor's office. They bring their kids there. We couldn't be happier with the service and attention we get from them. My son LOVES Dr. Calma.

Dr. Amy Leonard in Selden is fabulous, it is a small practice with 3 doctors... fm me if you want the contact info...

We (and a few other mommies on here) go to Dr John Zaso in East Meadow. He has another Dr. with him for relief only. I think he's great, and so are the nurses. We don't wait long, and we do get his undivided attention.

We miss you guys!!

Our ped is in East Meadow, we live in Farmingdale and it takes 10-15 mins to get there. Dr. John Zaso, love him!

Kristina goes to Associate Pediatrics of Plainview - they are right on S. Oyster Bay road, just north of Woodbury Rd.

Dr. Rabinowitz is usually who sees Kristina and he's GREAT with her.... I adore him!

Ryan sees a Ped in N. Babylon. It is a private practice which came HIGHLY rec. here. So far we are pretty happy with him. Let me know if you want the contact info...

I have heard very good things about immediate Ped. Care in Lindenhurst.

We use Dr.Van Cura, and Dr. George in West Islip, and are happy there.

Today proved I LOVE this Dr.

I had to drop off papers and asked the receptionist (who is also a sweetheart) if I can make an appointment for next week for something real quick to be checked on DS.

Well...they (the girls) say to me "If you want to hang out a few mins, he can see you now"
Of course, I jumped on the opporutnity.
He took his time, answered all my questions and as I left he had another patient in the waiting room.
I was so thankful for his time and the office is great.
I was going to go back to pick up the papers and as I was leaving, I hear my name..."Your papers are ready"..

I highly recommend this practice.

They have "Walk In Hours" from 8-8:45AM M-F..No appointment necessary **Sick Visits**

They are located in Huntington Village.

DH and I love our pediatrician, Dr. David Eisenberg, located in Sayville. He is a solo practitioner and is a sweetheart. He was recommended to us from friends and are so happy we went with him. FM me if you want his info. Good luck in your search!
