Help me choose a blackberry (Verizon plan)
Main criteria: retrieve emails while on the go and be able to email back.

Until now, I only got "free" phones with our plans so... I am clueless when it comes to "fancy" phones.

droid is short for Andorid which is the Google operating system.
Some droids can be free. Check out your online account or upgrade at a 3rd party site such as wirefly and others.
BB is going back to business where it belongs. BBM is 1 app that you can live without as there are so many chat programs that can chat via any operating system.
Do you want a keyboard? Droid2 featurs a keyboard but with the size of phones getting bigger, the onscreen keyboard is nice to. Droid X is really powerful and has the largest screen today.
I recommend going into a store and just playing.

I'm not a fan of the Droid. I had an EnV2 before getting a BB and I love it. Just got the new BB Curve3G..LOVE IT!

I have BB Curve. No problems.
It's not a "fun" phone though.
Great for emails and texting. Internet is pretty fast too. Just doesn't have the cool apps and capabilities of the IPhone though.
