Between the 2, I like the 1st one better,
but for the room you showed(beautiful btw!)
personally I would get a rug that has other colors and also a tiny bit of blue -with the blue being the least prevelent color!

I LOVE #1, but it may be to monochromatic. #2 would add a small splash of color, and would make the furniture POP. sorry bad speller . I think it's a personal pref. I would put #2 in

your room has such a classic "period" look and IMO neither rug blends w/ the style of the room. both are too country and whimsical. i would look for something more traditional.

I would say #2 cause it brings in more colors to the room. Both are pretty though. Good Luck!

I agree! Love # 1 for the dining room!
And the room is GORGEOUS!
I would like # 2 for a kitchen area rug though!
