Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
I am so confused and I have to decide this week! I have two kids and currently have a Nissan Pathfinder and I don't feel I need the 3rd row but it's nice to know I have it. I maybe used it 4 times in 3 years.
Which would you choose...the Pilot or the Murano and why?

Re: Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
We just got a pilot about 3 weeks ago and love it. We have 2 kids (3 and 4) and we have plenty of room! When we put our inlaws in the car we move the kids to the 3rd row..if not the trunk room is plenty!

Re: Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
I have ridden in both a Pilot and a Murano. In the Pilot, I rode in the 3rd row on a family trip. I know its not primarily meant for adults, but I am 5'3 and it was very cramped, uncomfortable and I got nauseous. I would feel bad putting my kids in that 3rd row. Also, to me, the Pilot feels like riding in a bus.
I have rode in a Murano several times (my good friend has one) and it is always a smooth ride and comfortable. She has no problem throwing her stroller and lots of baby stuff in the trunk.
If I were to chose, I would pick the Murano.

Thanks for your post! I agree that the Pilot (and pathfinder I currently have) does have that "mini bus" feeling. While I was used to it I didn't really take note of it until I rode in the Murano.
I am currently leaning toward the Murano b/c of more "bells and whistles" and a slightly less payment but I am wondering if I can give up the "mini bus" and be happy w/ less room.

Re: Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
I have one child and have a Murano The car is okay but I am not in love with it. There is plenty of room with one child. My friend has a Pilot and I love it. I feel like it has so much more room when I sit in the back seat and with the trunk. With 2 children I would definitely vote the Pilot. I honestly can not wait for my lease to be up with the Murano so I can get a Pilot - even if I will still only have one child
ETA - I use to have a pathfinder and would pick that car over both the murano and pilot

Re: Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
I bought a CPO 2007 Honda Pilot a few months ago and LOVE IT! It is very roomy inside and has great cargo space when the 3rd room is stowed. I have an EX with DVD system and love the heated seats and moon roof too. The ride is very smooth and the engine has ballls- very powerful. Highly recommend!!

The Murano is tiny.. My friend had to rent on and she couldnt fit her 2 carseats in it. I would go with the pilot. Good Luck

Murano.. I am turning in my current lease and getting it next week. I love the CVT transmission - such a smooth ride, and it has just enough space.

Re: Help me decide...Honda Pilot OR Nissan Murano
I just traded in my 07 crv or a 07 pilot 3 weeks ago. I LOVE the pilot. We got rid of the crv bc I felt it was small. I think the crv is similar to the murano. With the pilot, we haven’t used the 3rd row yet, but the extra storage is awesome when the 3rd row is done.
