Help me pick a character for 1st birthday!
scooby doo
cat in the hat
super mario
wolverine
batman
superman
spiderman
pirate
clown
peter pan
Honestly, I have no idea what would work, is there something better I could choose? These are the ones that come free, I have to pay $100 bucks for any other one, as long as they can find a costume for the character.
Here are the kids are age/sex
1B 2B 3B 3G 3G 3G 4G 5B 6G 7G 7G 8B 9G 9G 9B 11G
DS doesn't know any of these, except maybe a clown from one of his books... should I introduce him to, say, "cat in the hat" if I going to get the character ...
he's only really been introduced to mickey, pluto, and winne the pooh and I don't think he cares for mickey, but how can you be sure with a 10m old ..
But I never see good costumes for those, don't know if I should risk a sucky one.
I don't have clear theme, his cake is going to have cars and trains on it. I guess transportation theme...

So the theme is transportation and the character question is for which one to have come to the party? Is that right?
If so, then I'd choose the clown. I would only choose one of the other characters if that was the theme of the party (but maybe I'm just anal?).

I was thinking clown too, but I find it so dull. and think the kids based on age might not like it. I have no idea are clowns in at all?
I somehow like he idea of cat in the hat, at least I know he will one day really like him because he's obsessed with books. Maybe we can stick cat in the hat in the theme.
