I don't love the first one and agree the second looks too dressy. I know the first would look awful on me though, so that might be affecting my opinion.
I'm just wearing a skirt and top. Nothing too dressy at all 
ETA: I like #1

I think they are both nice dresses, but the first one seems a bit too casual for a christening and the second a bit too dresst for a christening.
I agree....sorry
