Help My 4 month old babies are bored!
My twins are 4 months. Right now they spend their days in the "Infant to Toddler Rockers" or on their play mat. During the week they are in daycare and get lots of stimulation. But on the weekends, I feel that they need a change of scenery.
Does anyone have any suggestions on other "holding pens" or such that I can put them in. The swing is out of the question because they have acid reflux and motion makes it worse.
They are 9 pounds (they were preemies so they are tiny for their age) so would a bumbo seat work?
Thanks!

you can try a bumbo, as long as they have good neck control.
DS also loves his exersaucer..

They may be ready for the excersaucers and i would for sure try a bumbo...see if they have enough head control for it.
A jumperoo would be next, My son went in his around 4 and 1/2 months but he was a bit bigger, I think they might be too small for it.
You could get a jumperoo and a Excersaucer and switch them from one to the other.

My DD is 4 mos and now that I'm home with her for the summer, I try to do a whole bunch of things as needed
~Wathcing Noggin or Baby Einstein DVD's in her bouncer or during tummy time on the floor ~ Assorted toys for tummy time ~ story time ~music time ~ put her in the carrier and do chores and narrate what I'm doing ~she has an exersaucer but she's too short to touch the floor

THe exersaucer could be a problem bc of size. You could always take turns with them in a bjorn or a sling.

DS is 3.5 months old. He isn't quite ready for his jumperoo or exercauser yet.
He really seems to like music and sounds. I'll dance with him. Or I'll shake and bang various items that make noise in front of him. He can't really play with them himself yet but it entertains him.
I also bought this spin tummy time thing and this interactive tummy time activity item.
We also do baby exercises, infant massage, and I've been trying out some moves that I saw on itsy bitsy yoga.

My dd just wants to be held and played with.. and enjoys the bumbo seat.
So far she hates the exersaucer. I have a bounce thing that you attach to a ceiling like in a doorway.. havent tried it yet.. but my older dd loved that at about her age.
