help! my skin is peeling so bad
I just got back from Florida, my skin isnt BURNT just sooo dry its peeling. I have a wedding in a few weeks and a rather skimpy dress to wear.
I have aloe AND cocoa butter, I don't know which is better. Or maybe baby oil?? Do you think I should try to loofah it off or leave it?
Ugh, my skin changed so much - I used to be in the sun all the time. And how come as dry as my body is, my face is still oily! LOL

There is some after sun cream out tyhere, I used one by bullfrog and it was awesome! Really minimized the peeling!

Gently rub off what you can in the shower, then use baby oil for your body, and CeraVe (any drug store will have it) for your face.

the only advice I have is moisturize a lot. The last time I peeled on my shoulders I made the mistake of exfoliating.... OUCH. Don't do that, lol.

My skin has been so dry (mostly dry patches which is gross) and this is what I've been doing and it's been working.
Exfoliating in the shower.
Rubbing oil (not baby oil) all over while I'm still damp.
Then using Aveno daily moisturizer once I'm dry.
It's been working like a charm and it only took a few days to start to see a difference.

I know how you feel. It happens when your skin hits the sun for the first time after a long winter.
Aveeno is the best lotion I have used for really dry skin. Keep applying it like its going out of style.

I just get the America's Choice brand at K-Mart. It's blue! (my mom swears by it too... been using it for years).
