Many and for you. Most lumps turn out to the nothing, and you're doing all the right things to catch any problems that may arise early.

I went through this about a year ago. The Dr found a lump in my breast and sent me to have an ultrasound. Turned out to be nothing. Those were a few of the scariest days of my life, so I could only imagine how you are feeling. Lots of

I just went through the same thing. I went for the sono and just saw the specialist yesterday. It was just fatty tissue, but we will monitor it. I am not saying you should not be scared because I was a wreck.... Just think positive and remember that it could be anything... She told me that it may have been caused by many years on BCP. You are not going through this alone.... You always have us here for support.... FM me any time if you need to chat...

Stay positive. I know it's hard. I had to see the breast surgeon a year ago and thankfully everthing was fine. Think good thoughts...

I went through the same thing in March of 2004. I found a lump in my left breast and was sent to a breast surgeon - who refused to take me seriously b/c of my age  - after a few tests I wound up seeing a specialist in Queens. She wound up finding another one in my right breast and told me the same as above - that it was fatty tissue. Breast cancer runs heavily in my family as well so I was a wreck (plus this was a few months b4 my wedding so it was definitely exacerbated...but I just monitor now. I am definitely lumpy and I should definitely go back to the specialist for a follow-up 
Try to stay positive - ask a ton of questions and don't leave without feeling comfortable.

something along the same lines happen to my mom, she had nodules in her breast and it turned out to be nothing.

Chances are it's nothing! I know it's impossible, but try not to worry so much, you'll make yourself sick with that kind of stress. My cousin had this very thing happen to her last year and it turned out to be a nothing cyst.

I've been in your shoes right now.
I was a wreck. Try not to get yourself too crazy-it could be nothing. They will probably want you to get a mammo or sono-maybe a biopsy..
But you will know soon enough.
BTW-Mine was nothing. TG!

The dr. found a lump on my sister's breast 2 years ago, while she was pg! I know its very scary. My sister was 19 @ the time.
Turned out just to be a cyst. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to FM me and I can get info through my sister.
She had the surgery and everything is 100% fine. I think a lot of women do get cysts.
