Help settle a debate between me and DH
DH just made a sandwich of balogna and pretzels!!! I think he's nuts. He tells me that as a child, a lot of people did this, putting chips or pretzels on their sandwiches to make them crunchy. I have never seen anyone do this!
Did you ever do this or know anyone who did?

I have heard of chips but not pretzels but I guess both serve the same purpose.
I've never thought to put it on the sandwhich, just on the side.

I have heard people putting potato chips on sandwiches, but not pretzels. Sounds good though. I just had a balogna sandwich myself - I should have read this post earlier!

DH says that I should let everyone know we're out of potato chips, so he had to make due with pretzels.

as a kid the only way I'd eat a sandwich was to put chips on it.. but pretzels would work too

Definately. I love potato chips on my sandwhiches
same here. i actually accidentally did this once in a business mtg and i started a conversation about how everyone else likes to do that too

I never put potaote chips or pretzels on a sandwich before, i guess i will have to try that. BUT i do put pototoe chips in my ice cream.
