HELP! What can I give her for a cough?
seems she's getting congested (again--just had a cold 2 weeks ago) and it's dripping and causing her to cough her little lungs out.
Triaminic? PediaCare for coughs?

Dimetapp. This is what the Ped told us to give DD- I personally think it doesn't work but there are others that swear by it.

Thanks Karen. She seems to "feel" fine....close to her normal playful self although she's ready for naptime sooner than normal. I guess it's from the constant waking up at night.
Do these medicines make them sleepy?

You should call her ped. He can tell you what to give and how much. It may just be a post nasal drip. Did you try to elevate the mattress? Put a phone book under the mattress so she is not laying flat down. I also found the vaporizer works great for Ryan. Pediacare has one and so does vicks. You just plug it into the wall. Good Luck and I hope she feels better.

Don't those wall vaporizers have a young age limit on them?

Don't those wall vaporizers have a young age limit on them? 3 months and over. ( I use the pediacare one - I don't know if the other ones have an older age). It works great!

Re: HELP! What can I give her for a cough?
We always use Triaminic for coughs....we also used Dimetapp but I have a hard time finding that one in stores and we ran out of samples from the doctor.
