Help with my garage door opener
Mysteriously, all the remotes for my garage door opener have stopped working. There is a panel on the wall inside the garage, and if I press the button, the door opens, so it's not the opener itself. The remotes don't work. I changed all the batteries in the remotes...still don't work.
I asked the guys at Sears and he said there is a button on the side and to hold it down until the light flashes and I can reset it to program the remotes. I got up on a ladder today, but can't find any such button.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Help with my garage door opener
call the manufacturer.....they remotes probably need to be re-programmed and they can give you step by step directions

Re: Help with my garage door opener
most work on a frequency so if there is some interference in the area then they wont work,
there is usually a button on the back of the opener itself and instructions on it too so you can reconnect to it on a different frequency,
or go online to the manufacturer and look up the specific instructions for your model

Re: Help with my garage door opener
We just replaced our entire garage door opener system last month. It's brand new and the remotes and batteries in the remotes are brand new.
Our remotes haven't been working the last few days and we were told it was due to the cold weather
