Help with nursing a very active baby
Now that DD is crawling it's all she wants to do. After a few minutes of nursing she flips herself over onto all 4's on my lap and turns her head to continue nursing while trying to crawl around. If ANYTHING catches her eye she pulls off and tries to get to it.
Other than feeding her in a sensory deprivation chamber any advice on how to get her to focus and eat?
I'm worried that her interest in the world is keeping her from getting the nutrition that she needs.

I've been going through that too. Sometimes I can calm him a little by singing. I found he has no patience to wait for let down anymore. If I start flowing, then he stays on. I decided it was time to start switching him to more bottles. He seems to enjoy the immediate satisfaction now. Wish i could help more.

DS is like this now too, and he's not crawling. He just seems much more interested in everything around him suddenly.
I try feeding him in a quiet room, but that doesn't always work. Eventually he does get very hungry though and then he'll eat. It also helps that we just started solids now, and that's a diversion for him.
I'm sure it will pass. Your little one is just so excited about getting around!
