HELP with really short cycles!!

I am not TTC yet, but we were planning to start within a couple of months. I have always been extremely regular - every 28 days etc.

After having DD 18 months ago I continued my 28 days cycles. For the past 3 months, however, I have been having 24 day cycles. And now, I just got AF today, making this a 20 day cycle!

Any ideas of what can be causing this?

I was supposed to have my annual gyn appt Monday but of course now had to re-scheduled so I can't ask the DR until July 14th!

Sorry if this is asking for TMI, but is your flow as heavy & the same...consistency as it usually is? It's so early this month..maybe this time around it's "break through bleeding" and not a full AF? I used to get that when my docs were trying to regulate my AF with meds years ago...I would keep track of all the dates & then probably wait a few weeks to see how soon she comes back again. If this keeps up, I'd go see an OB armed with all the data. GL!
