Hemorrhoids...
Yea so I think I may have a very small one, but it doesnt bother me.
If that's what it is, how can I prevent it from hurting or becoming bigger? Also, does it come and go or will it be there for the rest of the pregnancy?
I am sorry if this sounds stupid but I never ever in my life have discussed this with anyone and didn't even know what they were until I read about it in a pregnancy book.

The big thing is to make sure you don't get constipated and strain when you go.
I have a not so small one so my midwife gave me a prescription cream for it. So far it's helping but it's not totally better yet.

Drink lots of fluids, try not to strain when going to the bathroom, and instead of toilet paper to wipe, use baby wipes then pat dry w/ toilet paper.

Eat fiber!!!!!!! Fiber one products are great! They also have these tum looking fiber tablets that are very good. Make sure you drink plenty of water with the fiber!

definately up your fiber so you dont strain- the straining will make it worse-
as for medicine- supposedly the medcine they have only help the symptoms but dont make it go away- if you google online there are some nonprescription natural creams(not preparation H) that you can mail order and are suppose to shrink it down to nothing-

Umm it is pretty gross. It is an enflamed blood vessel. It basically looks like a little ball of swollen skin in the "butt" area. If you google images they are HORRID. I think most people know they have them because they hurt/itch/are uncomfortable, but like I said.. this is really small and hasnt bothered me yet.
