heres a question
There was a post recently on here about the playtex drop ins. Someone asked how you take the air out. Honestly I would just pour the formula in, cap the bottle and give to DD. How do you all take the air out, especially with the bigger bottles?

I don't use these my niece and nephew has these, you put pressure on the bag and push until all the air is out

Re: heres a question
You push the liner up and it pushes the air out through the nipple. The bigger bottles, you can push the burp cloth up in there. Also, when you set the bottle down, the air tends to leak back in, so make sure you cap it first..that keeps the air out.
The whole point of those bottles is to push the air out to make less air go in the tummy therefore cutting down on the gas, so it really defeats the purpose to not push the air out.

I disagree that you have to push the liner up. The purpose of this system is that the liners are meant to collapse as the baby feeds, which eliminates air getting into the milk.

The air is in the milk already when you don't push the liner up though isn't it?

Sure there's air. Will be no matter what bottle you use. IMO it defeats the purpose of using the liner system if you're going to manually push the liner with each feed. Seems like a waste to me. If it works for you, great.

Re: heres a question
I dunno, I just looked at the liner box and the instructions say to push the air out. Whatever works though
