Hersheypark tickets - question
So for my boy's elementary school I chair the Dine-to-Donate. Basically finding local restaurants and doing a fundraiser for our PTA.
I was looking into something different and saw we can do a Hersheypark PTA fundraiser. Their cost is $32.95 if we sell by the end of March. Any additional charge we add per ticket would go to the fundraiser.
we LOVE Hersheypark and thinking this would be a huge hit. What's your thought? Would you buy the tickets through the school? Thinking charging $5 extra per ticket that would go to the PTA.
Anyone know what some other discount costs are for buying tickets? I remember we bought through boy scouts, but this still may be cheaper. I believe at the gate it's about $67/ticket. Thanks!

Re: Hersheypark tickets - question
Yes! our PTA does this and it's awesome! We got our tickets for like 40% off the gate price last year. It's set up so the earlier you buy, the larger the discount.
It's a huge hit and it's great for people who are going to Hershey that season- you save so much money!
I have to go look how much we paid per ticket

One of the schools in our town does it and it’s a big hit. A lot cheaper than any of the discounts I’ve found elsewhere.
I think they add $5 per ticket.

Yes, it's a good deal. Also, look into the Long Island Ducks. I think that one works where the PTA pays a bit less than face value and then the people buy them for face value. But, you then make it a "family fun night" where everyone goes to the same game. They will put the school name on the score board. You can even get the students to go on the field for the national anthem.

Thanks all! Will look into it and see if the board approves. I want to buy myself so maybe up the cost $5 per ticket bc it's still a savings.
