Hes in his big boy bed tonight!
As you know we finished his room last week, but we hadnt transitioned him into the bed yet. So tonight I went to put him to bed in his crib and he said "no, I sleep in bed". So I wasnt going to say no, so we put the rails together and in his bed he is.
So far, not a peep out of him. Hes just laying in bed under the covers quietly. In his crib hed be up playing and talking for an hour before he laid down quietly.
We shall see how this goes. I hope he does well. Im afraid he might wake up in the middle of the night and not know where he is.....anyone ever have that happen?
Update: he was out like a light in 10 minutes.

Re: Hes in his big boy bed tonight!
That's great news. When we first transitioned DD into her toddler bed it went well the first night & then trouble started. She'd initially call out to me (I think she didn't realize she could get out of bed on her own & then a week or so later she'd get up in the middle of then night & run into my bedroom looking for me (I'd just walk her right back & tuck her in). She also fell out 2x (but was fine). It's now been about 5-6 weeks & finally she's back to sleeping through the night. I hope it goes well for you!

ssssshhhuuusshhh!!
Well he cant fall out bc hes in a twin bed with rails...... and we have gate across the door so he cant get out of his room. Thats more so he doesnt roam the house in the middle of the night though.
