Hi Everyone- My Update

When I had my miscarriage in Feb I was devestated. I didn't tell many people in real life so I found this board so helpful. I truly didn't think I would ever try again. But I had a change of heart and I actually got pregnant before I got AF again. I wanted to wait until after my first appointment before I told anyone.
I'll admit things were different this time. I didn't tell DH in a cute way and I was not anxious to call the dr to make my first appointment. We didn't talk about names or anything. But this week we saw and heard the heartbeat. I feel a little better about it. My doctor told me that the mc was a random thing and there is no reason to think it will happen again. I wanted to share my story and send everyone some . Chat Icon

That's great news!!!

I remember your story, I think we were going through our m/c at the same time. Congratulations on getting pregnant again so quickly. I too just got a BFP, I feel like I could have written this post myself. It's exactly how I'm feeling, I haven't even called the dr. yet, I want to wait another week or so and then schedule an appt.

Congratulations!!!

Happy & Healthy 9 months!! I know it's hard not to be a little worried but seeing the Heart Beat is a great Sign!!!!

Congratulations! How exciting! I can understand why you are so scared. It's definitely a scary thing. Hang in there! I'm so glad you got to hear the heartbeat!

Congratulations Maggie- I think mine was a week after yours. Even though my Dr told me to wait, I decided to take your dr's advice and try anyway. LOL. I didn't call to make my appointment until I was 5.5 weeks in case something happened again. And I wanted to make sure my first appointment was after 7 weeks so there would be a heartbeat or there wouldn't be a heartbeat, no grey area like there is around 6 weeks.

Thats exactly why I'm waiting to call the dr. I want to make sure I'm further along so we'll def see something on the sono.
