Historical Fiction- American Revolution
I am teaching this topic this week and am really enjoying it. Does anyone have a good historical fiction book they could recommend about this era?

Re: Historical Fiction- American Revolution
For your class or for you?
If it's for you I liked the John Jakes Kent Family Chronicles, it follows a family though most of American history, starting with the Revolution. They were written quite a while ago, but he's one of my favorite historical fiction authors.
I agree, with PP, Johnny Tremain is one of the stories both DH and I still remember from elementary school. I vividly remember watching the Disney movie version in school.

I LOVED john adams. its kind of like a biography/autobiography told through letters back and forth between him and his contemporaries and family. soooo intersting!
