Holiday Gift Ideas - 1 to 2 year old girl
I'm trying to figure out what to get DD for XMas this year - she just turned one so she won't have another major event until next October. I'd like to get her some gifts she can grow with this year - any suggestions?

My DS is 15 months and just starting to play with his toys in a very different way - ie lining up cars, putting little men in and out of them. Sort of like a bit of role play/pretend. So I'm imagining that's the sort of thing to come.
I second the play kitchen/food/pots and pans - DS is really starting to get into that
The Little People playsets are adorable and he's really starting to get into the characters (even recognizes them on a dvd that we have)
He's got a smart trike and loves it
I saw a Fisher Price Sit and Scoot thing - basically it's a ride-on toy that converts to a scooter (the seat slides down and the handlebars go up) which I think is really cute as he's always trying to steal someone's Razor scooter in the park! LOL! 
Musical instruments - still loves his xylophone
Backpack so they can take little things with them when they go out (I've got one with reins attached on his Christmas list)

Dollhouse
If I had a girl, I would love to get her one of those FP Say Please tea sets, so cute! But any tea set!
Little fold out couch/chair - it's nice to have their own space. DS loves little chairs!
Wooden Puzzles - melissa and doug have great ones

DD's big Christmas gift this year will be a play kitchen. She'll be 18 months old at Christmas.
