DS will almost be 2 - so he isn't expecting anything yet. I think he'll be excited with wrapping paper and boxes.
I bought him this little clicker (2 round circles that click together) for $1 at Target the other day and that totally made his day.
He's getting a toy chest from grandma and a work bench from me.

Dh is soooo excited to give her the drum set we bought her. The kid loves music and DH just bought himself a used drum set for Xmas and she asks to play them all the time. I also can't wait for my sister to give her the piano. I know it's not from us but again I think she is going to be so happy to get it.

DS is 3 years old and is at the age that he understand about Xmas. He wanted this batman cave so badly so I can not wait for him to open it up from Santa.

Well it was her Ariel costume that she has been dying for.....but today we were talking to MIL about what she wants Santa to bring and DD says "No I don't want an Ariel costume. I want a monkey costume. I want to be a monkey for Halloween."

I'm going to paint a chalkboard on the wall after she goes to bed and tell her the elves did it. I think she'll be thrilled! And horrified at what the "elves" did to my wall!

As silly as it seems, I can't wait to play with this with him. It's entirely made of cardboard. They have to match the socks that they take out of the little washing machine and if they get underwear they lose a turn . From Young Explorers. It says it is for ages 3+ but I think we can get started with it.

Re: Holiday Gifts - what's your most SPECIAL gift this year?
Last yr we gave him a train table that was used from my SIL. Christmas Eve all of a sudden he went on and on that he wanted a train table and I was devistated that we had no idea and didn't get him one. Christmas Eve we were talking to my SIL and she said we could have theirs, they never use it. So that night when Andrew went to bed DH went over there and got it and Andrew was sooo excited he couldn't even focus Christmas Morning. It was broken some from taking it apart and putting it back together and we didn't have really many trains for it. Since then it is really falling apart.
This yr we got him the Imaginarium one with all the track and trains. And I bought him more of the wooden Thomas he wanted. He is going to flip out!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for him!!!

Hannah is getting a big girl bedroom (well her crib converts to a toddler bed) and maybe a dollhouse. We got her Disney Princesses bedding, accessories and some pictures.
Not sure about Jack yet, he's still young.

Re: Holiday Gifts - what's your most SPECIAL gift this year?
My DD will only be 15 months at Xmas so she really doesn't have much of a clue but I am excited to give her the Leap Frog My Pal Violet that I bought her. It's so adorable and you can program it on your computer to say her name and teach her how to spell it. It also talks to her and teaches her all kinds of things like numbers, manners, colors, and refers to her by name. How cute is that??!! I know she will LOVE it!!
