Holiday Wish Lists
Every year, people ask me what I want I can never remember anything to tell them. Usually I end up with things similar to stuff I already have. This year, I made a Wish List on Amazon so I could remember the things I actually want/need. Nothing outrageous, mostly books and CDs, a few baking things.
Is it rude to tell people if they ask me what I want to refer to my Wish List? My family is very laid back and rarely takes offense to anything, and my MIL would love it so she actually has some ideas to go on. DH would love it too.
Thoughts?

Re: Holiday Wish Lists
I think its a great idea! I got married a few months ago & my registries are still up so if anyone asks I plan to point them in that direction.

Re: Holiday Wish Lists
I did the same so I don't think it's rude. I made a wish list for myself, DD and DS. I'm pointing everyone that direction if they ask.

Re: Holiday Wish Lists
i use the wishlist too. when il's and aunt would ask i'd send them to it.....
no one else asked, or my mom would ask but doesn't shop online so i didnt route her there.
i think its the best- because if one person doesn't get you something then another person can and its not like they all have to check with each other

Re: Holiday Wish Lists
DH and I do the same thing. We update it all year round and use it for birthdays too ... not just holidays.
There's even a button you can add to your web browser so you can add things from other websites too.
I would never tell people about the list if they didn't ask but it's awesome to have for when people do ask.
I also try to keep things if different price ranges on there.
