Holy cow...DD is learning like 5 new words a day this past week!
I love this time! She says so many words now and understands everything we say. She also hums Twinkle Twinkle all the time. So cute.
I have been a little MIA from the boards b/c we were in Florida, but I'm going to try and post pics of DD later...been a long time!

That's really great! ds is 16 months old almost and doesn't say a word. Just babbles. I think maybe it's b/c he hears spanish/english all the time, and is confused, so we'll see as time goes on.

I know what you mean DS is a friggin book already and he is saying the words so well. Its like a word explosion happened once he turned 18 months. Its amazing. He can finish the words in his favorite book as well.

I know what you mean!! it's awesome. It's like everytime I explain something to her she says it right back!

Cailen only said a few words at this age. He is almost 22 mts and talks all the time - the leap is amazing!!!

Ale has been learning quickly lately too. I was concerned because I speak to her only in Spanish and I know that can delay her speech - although she understands EVERYthing in Spanish AND English....but now she is saying more words every day!!
Her latest: Up, down, backpack....it's so cute!

I cant wait  Noah is severly speech delayed. Now......... we found out he can name over 30 animals by picking out their flashcards but no he cant name them them or even one and I just wanna say ladies, enjoy these times, Dont take them for granted....Noah said gaga in the store the other day and you'd have though he FLEW for the scream I gave
Enjoy it and way to go kiddos!!!!

Donna, you know Ale only has about 10 words, but 3 came in one day so I think at one point there is like a "breakthrough" for them. I am sure it will come when he is ready. My ex-BIL didn't say a THING until he was over 2 - but when he started to speak they were complete sentences.
And I do get so excited every time she says a real word....I appreciate it so much....
